When will I get my rewards?

Our schedule for UK and international rewards delivery is set up for 31st of August, 2021. If there is any change in the schedule, we wil let you know in advance.

Can I change my pledge amount?

On increasing pledges: If you select any new add-on rewards during the survey, that’s a way of increasing your pledge! On decreasing pledges: Unfortunately, we can no longer decrease pledges, because the money you contributed has already been accounted for, and in fact, it’s being used right now to get the illustrations of April’s Magical World and her joy for living slow picture books! However, if you have an issue with your pledge or there was an error, email us! We’ll help however we can.

What if I want to pledge, but missed the Kickstarter?

They can still chip in — and get great #AprilsMagicalWorld stuff! Tell them to check out the Add-On Rewards shop. — easy as that!

How do I get the digital rewards in the .zip file I just downloaded?

On a a Mac computer, locate your newly downloaded .zip file in Finder. Double-click on it! It will unzip auto-magically, and a second item — a folder containing its contents — will appear. Your files are in that new folder! If you’re on a Windows computer, select My Computer from the Start menu, find the file that needs to be unzipped, right-click it, and choose Extract All. Select Browse to choose the destination where you want the files to go once they’re unzipped, and click Extract.

How do I change or edit an answer on my survey?

There are a few ways to do this! If you’ve just completed your survey, you’ll land on a page that says “YOU’RE FINISHED.” (Great job!). At the bottom of that page just above the footer, there’s a button that takes you back into the survey in case you need to edit or double-check something.

Or, after you’ve filled out your survey, you’ll get an email with the subject line “Survey Confirmation”. Scroll down in that email to the section “Review on BackerKit” and click on the link after those words “Use this link to return to your survey any time”.

You’ll see a confirmation page if you already filled out the survey. Find the “Pledge Items” box on the left side and click “Edit Pledge questions” to get back in there.

If you can’t find that email, look for the original email we sent you with the survey in it.

If neither of those emails are anywhere to be found, don’t worry — there’s still hope! Just email us at [email protected] to get another link sent to you.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
